Alright, well Abbi was bugging me for days to get one of these, so here it goes. [little stinker.]
I don't even know where to begin. I haven't talked to most of the family in quite some time now.
Um, last year was quite an eventful year for me. I moved quite a few times. I was in Iowa, California, Florida, then back to California.
I had a couple of nanny jobs; one in Florida on the beach and the other in California.
I loved being a nanny. It was tough, especially the potty training part [haha], but definitely worth it.
I just recently quit the second nanny job in California to move to good ol' Lakewood, Washington.
Reason being: I got married.
Marriage, ha! So crazy.
My husband's name is Brendan Cardenas. He just turned 22 a few days ago.
I knew him from when I was in high school in California. He was one of my friend's friends.
Anyways, we got married May 18th. No one really knew about this. I had just told my family like a week before we did it. Him and I just decided that we wanted to get married, so he asked me and we did it.
We just had a little ceremony at the court house.
Neither of us had the money to put on a big, fancy wedding at that time.
Our wedding that everyone's invited to will be Fall/Winter of 2010.
So, as for now, I'm living up in Lakewood with Brendan in our cute, little apartment.
[and our cat that he insisted on having...]
He's in the Air Force and has one year left, then it's back to California for us.
Let's see, what else do I have to spill?
Oh yeah!
Brendan and I just recently found out that I was pregnant.
We wanted a baby and we're excited to be parents.
As of this past Saturday, I'm 10 weeks along. All the appointments have been going well.
I had the first ultrasound on the 25th of last month. The baby looked like a little blob. :]
I have my next appointment on the 30th.
We find out the gender around Sept. 13th or so, so I'll keep you posted.
As for now, that's all I have.
